Again, the will of the Greek people is to do nothing, unfortunately they do not have that option. Neither do we.
The people of NY-26 had their options. Their choice is now sending panic to every Republican who voted to kill Medicare.

Hard to compare the two since McCain isn't a conservative.

Is McCain more conservative then Obama and given the choice between the two who do you think conservatives would vote for?

Your party lost tonight because they attacked something that the majority of Americans (overwhelmingly) appreciate and need. There is nothing courageous about any of this. It simply means they thought they could ride a wave to please a specific group of people, 'baggers and the 1% club, and found that the rest of the country vehemently disagreed with this ideology.

If they had just taken it slower, and been more methodical, this would not have happened. Thankfully, we can count on the fringe group of republicans to always act like a fringe group of republicans and make poor choices. They blew it, and again, the Dems are going to whip their arse with this in 2012.

Between a few other key issues such as this, Obama's legislative accomplishments, the GOP pathetically weak field and killing OBL, you guys are going to lose 2012. It's why you're not seeing anybody strong enter the race on the right side of the aisle. As much as they claim this country needs changing blah blah blah....they'll be glad to help next election, just not this one.

Usually this involves a story about how welfare mommas have brought this country to their knees along with union members.
Actually raising taxes for everybody is a rather childish suggestion, for those who think we live in a static economy, where actions dont have consequences, and its for those who dont understand how revenues to the federal government remain rather consistant, regardless of the tax rates charged.

if you want to increase revenue to the federal government you increase the economy. If you think raising taxes is the solution to everything in nation, then tell me what you think will happen if we raise taxes to 100%? According to you, everything would be wonderful...

The left celebrating the fact that majority of americans need welfare..
That sums up the Democrats quite nicely..

Hardly. Do you think the Republicans will stop talking about Medicare reform?

Did the Dems change their rhetoric after Brown won Kennedy's seat? I get the impression this is the first election you have ever seen.

You quite wrong. Medicare and SS have long been called the third rail of electoral politics for a reason. The Republicans are showing gut by speaking honestly to the American people. Paul Ryan is hardly a Tea Partier.

I know the American people like these programs. They also like Cadillacs and big houses, yet the country can't afford to give them to people either.

As for 2012, a well known Dem operative said, it's the economy stupid. This election will be no different.
