Under the Republican Medicare plan the health care cost to the average senior would sky rocket to over $12,000 per year. How can an elderly person afford that? About half earn $20,000 a year or less. So logic would dictate that many seniors would go without needed medical services. And it further stands to reason that if you can't get medical treatment for some types of ailments you will die. So will the Republican plan lead to unnecessary deaths to senior citizens? I don't want to get into the politics of this like we can't afford it or we shouldn't be using the cuts to give tax cuts to the rich. I just want to know. "Will people die"?

It is well said, because it is true.

No the same old kick the can down the road by democrats will kill it . Especailly after cutiing 500 billion from medicare to fund the healthcare bill. Now are they goig to submit a plan when they have to raise taxes o payroll now by substantial amounts during a recession. That is why you see no plan from democrats. A lose;lose situation now for them;more cuts or raise taxes or both.

But liberals are against the Republican Plan. So this is a fallacy.

OP neglected to mention that any changes to medicare will affect only people under 55 years old.
Therefor, the post is a lie because people under 55 years old are not seniors.
No one over 55 will be spending $12,000

There's really not a firm definitiion of what a "senior" is. AARP membership for example is available for those 50 and above and seniordiscounts.com offers features discounts to those 50 and above as well and they are not alone in offering discounts to those 50 or above.
