Bye-Bye, Medicare! (As You Know It) | The Foundry
The dirty little secret on Capitol Hill is that Obamacare already ended the program as we know it. They don't tell you that in those "Mediscare" ads.
Here's what Obamacare has already done:

2) Capped future Medicare spending.
3) Put an unelected board in charge.

Obama's plan cut 500 billion from Medicare Advantage. How much Medicare spending does Paul Ryan's plan cut?

Which partly undoes Medicare Advantage. However, it doesn't go far enough in reversing that monstrosity of a bill the Republicans and Bush forced through in 2003.

If this is the case, why don't the Republicans scream this from the mountain tops?

A foundry is a factory that produces metal castings. Metals are cast into shapes by melting them into a liquid, pouring the metal in a mold, and removing the mold material or casting after the metal has solidified as it cools.
