My first choice is Herman Cain but I doubt the good old boy RNC will endorse him. Perry has a chance to be nominated. A Perry/Bachmann ticket could win.
Perry is awesome and I hope he tossed his hat into the ring.
The GOP is full of successful rising stars and he is one of them.
Perry/Christie would win easily hands down a total wipe out of Obama and Stupid Joe.
Many others will or may appear before it is all over.
I disagree, I think Cain can win this nomination, dont know if he will or not but the good ole boys want to win and get Obama out of our WH and will hopefully nominate the man who can defeat his sorry butt.

I am very impressed with Cain myself.
GOP is loaded with talent.
The problem with both the RNC and the DNC is that they have a specific agenda. I was shocked to see the DNC turn their backs on Hillary Clinton.
Let Perry stay in Texas where he can hide behind his Lt. Governor to intimidate the state senate into backing off on a much-needed challenge to the feds (i.e. - H.B. 1937).

Sadly that's probably right. I love Paul's positions on almost everything, but they're far too forward-thinking for most people. Some day, maybe. The other problem is they can easily be misconstrued (for example, his stance on the Civil Rights Act; MSNBC's Maddow painted him as some sort of Klansman by only presenting one side of the facts) against him.
I like Cain's economic ideologies, but I do not like his stances on social issues.
