Typical deflection.

P.S.: I am not referring to any one poster. I am just enjoying the fact that 'deflection' seems to have become a popular word on these threads. Indeed, if one has nothing to add to a discussion, one may nevertheless write 'typical (conservative/liberal) deflection' and then sit back snugly and watch the outraged responses.

Now, back as a youth, we were told that if you felt like you had to say something when you have nothing to say, then you would simply say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

However, that is difficult to type out. So, instead, we use 'deflection'.

Doesn't really matter to me what a president (democrat or republican) does on Memorial. If something this small can keep a country divided, thats a problem. Also, most regular Americans I know spend Memorial day drinking beer and cooking outside (myself included).

LOL! Now the righties think you have to have served in the Navy before you can play golf on Memorial Day..

What do ya have to do to have sex on memorial Day? To have a barbeque?

Different branches of the Armed forces???

MAYBE the righties could PASS MORE LAWS restricting what we can and can't do on certain days??? They seem to want that...more government regulation to keep all these wild and crazy liberals off the golf course !!!

For people who want smaller government they sure are worried about a game of golf.....they're probably just jealous of Obama's stamina....that was a long day BEFORE he played golf...

OMG!!!

Our president is golfing!

He really should have been at a family barbeque, or a picnic, or throwing a ball or a frisbee with his kids, or at the beach, like everyone else in the entire U.S. does on Memorial Day.

Quick ... someone call the Memorial Day Police!

Whatsa madda? Thread too long to read....there were NO excuses but factual reasons....now what did you do all day Monday?

Obama's day was quite full...did you stand at attention in a cemetary for 24 hours? What did you do? Spend the day on your knees praying???

Still waiting for you to answer: And just WHAT did your so-called 'normal' Americans do on Memorial Day?
