The usual right wing assumption is that they are the patriots. They are the defenders of the republic. They are the glue that holds America together.

If that's the case, I have some inconsistencies to point out.

1. Why is it that these right wing talk jocks "support the military" yet none of them has served a single day; indeed some went to lengths to avoid service.
2. How is daily spouting aimed at angering their audience with divisive half-truths and mischaracterizations at helpful to America? Portraying fellow Americans as enemies is hardly patriotic in any sense. It's demagoguery, pure and simple.
3. Fostering a "no compromise" mindset is the opposite of political activity. It results in deadlock. Politics is the art of compromise.
4. While falling over each other to denounce unions, these guys are union members themselves.

not to mention most of them are rich while their listeners are waiting for the government checks to hit their banks by the third of the month

They don't. They are opposed to those who are trying to dramatically transform America's traditional freedoms into something resembling Socialism/Communism.

1. You didn't have to serve to support the military. What's the Dems excuse for not liking the military?
2. There are no half truths being spread around. If there were, why are there no liable suits going on? Because what is being said is either an opinion or fact. No in betweens and no purposeful lies. The lack of law suits demonstrates that. Also, if your "fellow" American is AGAINST what America is, then YES they are the enemies of the Constitution. (Communists/Socialists/Marxists/Progressives/Islamists)
3. Fostering a "no compromise" mindset with people who don't like America and want to see it end is the right thing to do. Every politician makes that oath prior to taking office. (Protecting the Constitution from BOTH foreign AND domestic enemies).
4. I don't think they are in a PUBLIC union.

Any other false stuff you'd like to spread around?

1. So what? Signing up and walking a post is not the definition of "patriot"
2. A murderer or a rapist is also a "fellow American". Should they be exempt fro critique?
3. Talk show hosts are NOT politicians. They are allowed to support one side of an issue.
4. They have issue with the union leadeship, not the members.

Why do liberals hate intelligence/basic logic?

Why do liberals think they can constantly get away with asking purely rhetorical, tendentious questions and not lose credibility?

As to 4 above, the reason these guys are in unions is because they work in closed shops (which should be outlawed) and can't earn a living unless they kick back some of their paychecks.

No doubt. Most republican supporters are delusional and play into their master's lies. The politicians claiming "jobs are #1!" yet no jobs are created. "less government!" yet overwhelmingly supported the patriot act. "less spending!" yet refused to cut 21 billion in proposed government welfare to big oil.
They live in a fantasy land where they think the right actually cares about the country and the common man. Everyone else knows this is further from the truth and they are full of it, but the world has plenty of stupid people who don't.

Exactly, EVERYTHING THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT, give them the bulk of your earned income and over half of your estate when you die.
That is your Democrat party in action.

Sounds more like the Soviet Union to me.

Why do liberals constantly attack conservative spokesmen and women?
