Chris Christie who has been spending his time as governor of new jersey by making drastic cuts to education and basically all public services while claiming the state is broke, recently took a helicopter ride to attend his son's H.S. baseball game.

Christie used the recently purchased 12.5 million dollar helicopter to fly from the capital to his son's baseball game in Bergen County NJ where he landed on a football field adjacent to the baseball field. he then took a ride in a car to move from the football field about 100 yards to the baseball stands. He watched about 6 innings before the game was then delayed for him to depart again.

Was he rushing off to official important business? No he was having a dinner with people who were interested in having him run for president.

Christie has shown what fiscal conservatives mean when they say we all need to tighten our belts in these tough economic times... all the regular people are going to get the shaft while people like him continue to live lavishly.

Yup, heard about this sleazy Repug pig today....but that's what Repugs mean when they say we must tighten OUR belts while those pigs waste as much as they like.

Know what the excuse was???

That other administrations had done the same thing....even if that was true it shows without a doubt that Christie canNOT be a leader...only a follower....

I just read a poll where it stated Christie's approval rating is 40% is disapproval rating is 48%. It will be interesting to see how the rest of his term plays out.

Also if his fiscal policies don't play out in New Jersey he's through as future serious presidential contender.

Actually, a new poll has his head above water again.

so what you guys can complain when obama does stuff like that... but when one of yours does something even more ridiculous we're supposed to just let be quiet?

it's just even more ridiculous considering all the cuts christie has made, and yet he has no qualms about spending tax payer money when it is convenient to him.

Yeah, that could well be. Poll numbers DO bounce around. In general I think he's doing a bit better in the polls than many of the other members of the "new crop" of GOP governors.
