There's no doubt we all knew this was going on. Ben Shapiro's new book interviews top t.v. industry executives who admit that's exactly what's happening.

Quote:
Shapiro's new book "Primetime Propaganda" makes the case that television executives, writers and producers use Hollywood and their positions to push a liberal political point of view.

The book is based on 39 taped interviews that he will gradually release during the next three weeks and in which many TV executives admit there is a dominating left-wing presence in their industry.

PRIMETIME PROPAGANDA:The inside story of how the most powerful medium of mass communication in human history has become a propaganda tool for the Left - By Ben Shapiro

Yes that left wing liberal media that presents both sides of the story. Oh the horror.

What's pathetic about most right wing puppets (not the few smart people with right views, but the puppet majority) is that they are so incensed by what might be slight left bias in the news media, that they flock to channels with a clear, absolute right wing tilt.

Then again, data we've discussed here shows that social conservatives have, on average, lower intelligence levels. I shouldn't be surprised.

There is no BOTH sides of the story with regard to NETWORK television programming. This is NOT about the news channels, this is specifically about the NETWORK programming, not CABLE NEWS programming.

The agenda is pressed for presenting a progressive view on television for social related issues, e.g. the so-called hit show - "Modern Family" for instance.

There is discrimination against people for jobs based on their political point of view. If you're conservative in Hollywood, everyone knows to keep your mouth shut if you want to work.

Oddly enough, Hollywood is one industry that seems to be exempt from those hiring practices that the government mandates that private and public sector employers enforce. There's NO Equal Opportunity hiring in Hollywood, definitely not for the on air talent (actors), and not for the talent behind the scenes (writers, producers, directors... etc).

Yep. I searched the author of the book (Ben Shapiro) and nothing came up.

Not like there aren't other dupes floating around here.

What is it the conservatives are always saying about conservative talk radio?

Oh, yeah, "If there was a market for it then there would be more liberal talk shows."

Apparently there is no market for conservative TV, otherwise that's what they would make.
