Romney has no hope of winning. Hes a lame duck just like Al Gore and Mccain were, he wont rile up the voters when it comes time to vote. And most voters are all about how they feel "right now" at the voting booth, Romney has to much baggage already with a kid from another woman + a divorce.
Good for Romney. Now what he needs to do is shut the f up and come up with a plan that will straighten out this global financial mess and articulate that plan to Americans. Otherwise he needs to take a hike.
Before you can treat the disease you need to diagnose the patient. Romney nailed the diagnosis.
Romney gave the president for having "tried" to help the country recover, but said Obama had instead "extended the downturn and made it deeper" through un-American economic policies.
"When the Europeans were in trouble economically, they spent more money and they borrowed more money. That's just what he did," Romney said. "He has been awfully European. You know what? European policies don't work there. They sure as heck aren't going to work here."
"I believe in capitalism. I believe in the Constitution," he continued. "And I believe in the greatness of America."
WTF? I thought he was Kenyan/Indonesian/Muslim? Now he's European?
I think it's disgusting to automatically label your opposition as un-American, but the GOP would be less transparent when it does so if they could settle on one.
Last I read, Kenya was an independent country. Furthermore, you referred to Africa in the post, not Kenya.
Last I heard, the British never colonized the entire continent.
