The population density in an Anarchy seems to be way lower than in Police States. Countries entering anarchy tends to experience fast drops in populations as essential services of food, water, sewage and protection from violence breaks down. Whom hunger does not get, cholera often do.

Average lifespan in anarchies seem to be about 35.

Police states, on the other hand, seem able to keep most people alive and fed, unless you got a total nutter in charge, Like Pol Pot, or the Kims. You are normally able to enjoy most advantages of modern life in a Police State, except of course, freedom. You got health care, vacations, and violent crime is sometimes lower than in free countries.

Police States also seem to be the more predictable ones. You can shut up about stuff, and it'll vastly improve your chances of being left alone.

So in general, Anarchy is the worse one to experience. Whether than makes it more "evil" is a different matter.

Democracy beats both hands down anyway, being able to deliver a much better life than the police state, while maintaining some of the self-determination of Anarchy.

The lesser evil is anarchy, because at least under those conditions free thinking people can band together and form a more perfect union, under a Police state that would be much harder to do.

Anarchy, most definitely. I can take care of myself if needed.

Are you sure you can protect yourself and your family in the absence of any law enforcement?

Anarchy for one simple reason: it wouldn't last long. Humans are social creatures, we are truly political animals. As far as we can tell, humans have organized themselves in some sort of political manner, however primitive, since the dawn of our species. For tens of thousands of years we organized in tribes, now we organize on a far grander scale. Anarchy is impossible because it would inevitably lead to the rise of political society. And, if you were there from the beginning you may be able to influence how that society develops.

Do you not think it possible that people now no longer have such socialization skills? We seem to be an "every man for himself" society now.

I can and have. The Police are under no obligation to protect you. The Police are not your body guards, and infact might not even come if requested.

On Easter 1999 when my in laws were murdered the Fire dept beat the Police to the scene by 2.5 hours. The cop shop was visible from the house not 3 city blocks away. Society would recover from Anarchy in time. Most of those are "every man for himself" are helpless anyway. Predators to be wiped from the face of earth.

Contray to popular opinion there is a couple of guys here who have and who have shot bad guys. I happen to be one of them. Tested and still breathing on this side of the grass.

I called the cops and was told they are not my personal body guards. I still have the dispatcher on the phone when I fired the gun. Why I didn't even get a Free ride down town. I was given insider info, which was a surprise since the cops don't usually tell us peasants much. The bad guy was wanted for 6 bench warrents for drug and violent related crimes.

The bad guy has served most of his life behind bars.

Why do Liberals paroll these types of drug and violent criminals? Man. I;l tell ya, I thing the Judge to the last frilly little social worker should have served the time that bad guy should have.

I will shoot the pets of liberals upon site anytime one enters my space from not on and I won't worry about it as much as I did back then either.

No more 3 strikes from me. Once is all a bad guy will get. No more begging and pleading for him to leave either. One STOP I am calling the COPs, and if he moves an inch down he goes.
