As does Biblical law. But it's rare that any Bible follower these days would call for such punishment.
The New Testament clearly does NOT call for stoning to death for adulty. Jesus specifically saved a woman from that fate, telling the crowd "Let he who is whithout sin cast the first stone". Quite a difference between that and what Sharia law calls for.
The problem is, anyone who believes in Islam, believes in the Koran believes that an adulteress should be given the death penalty. Muslim men however can have as many wives, concubines and sex slaves as they like and they can muta' marriages which can be so short term to be one-night stands.
In Islam adultery is not a crime of passion or sex. It's a property crime. A married woman who is used by another man is defiled property, women are property and nothing more. Under Islam they don't kill the men who commit adultery unless he's like the thief that takes another man's property.
People "hear" a lot of things. I guess it depends on who you hang around with. Those with extreme views of death (other then Muslims) I would say are radical, not mainstream folks.
Yeah, he seems to "hear" a lot of things that can not be supported as fact. Personally, if I was constantly "hearing" such from my friends or the people I hung around with, I might consider finding new friends or at the very least disregard anything they say as BS. He seems to inform himself through these types, so I guess we can "assume" anything he says is likely scuttlebutt that should be disregarded. /shrug

You mean old testament law? You know, the laws that were fulfilled? Surely you do? You remember the story of Mary Magdalene do you not? Remember, They were going to stone her for being an adulteress and Jesus walked up and stopped them, instructing that "he who is without sin, cast the first stone".
Not very educated about the Bible are we?
