If the world falls into a Greater Depression and our governmental agencies Federal,State,Local infrastructure collapses yes Martial Law will be the law of the land. How happy will you be when they forcibily remove your guns, food or water? Quarter themselves against your will in your own home? Talk about spreading the wealth around...just my opinion.

The revolutionaries of the far left are chomping at the bit for uprisings the likes of the Middle East right here in the lower 48 (or Obama's 57).
What was your opinion of some liberals who made the very same claims about Bush and Cheney before the 2008 election? They predicted that terrorism would be used as an excuse to cancel the election, keep Bush in power, and enforce martial law.

You probably thought they were crazy, right?

It is funny how some people come up with theories with no basis in reality.

I recall listening to Rush Limbaugh the morning that George W. Bush was to take his first oath of office. A caller breathlessly informed Rush that out-going President Clinton had 'called out the tanks' to take control of Washington D.C. and so prevent the swearing in. Rush just chuckled, hung up and said "the crazies are out today" (or such).

So you don't think that the protests and riotings we've seen in the streets of Greece, Spain, France, and England in response to austerity measures applied to Socialist entitlement programs following failed stimui (read governement spending) have any basis in reality? Where I come from that is flat out denial of the obvious. YMMV.

How come when Glenn Beck said this months ago it was called fear-mongering by the media? I don't see anyone calling Carville a fear-mongerer for saying the same thing.
I respect Carville's as much as a lot on here respect Rush, Beck and Palin.

Entitlement programs they pay in taxes for... pretty much like the protesting folks under Tea Party banner carrying... keep your government off my Medicare, here in the USA. See, you don't even have to look beyond the seas. The key is that people want protection from the government, not abuse. That was the motivation for the original tea party movement. Look at Texas, corporations have been given tax breaks and subsidies, a prime example of publicly backed private enterprise (the premise of Fascism, BTW), and consequently when revenues fall, people are laid off. Those tax cuts have been creating holes in the balance sheet and people are being asked to pay for it.

Keep pushing people into the corner, and you can't count chaos out.

That's not what you said.

You claimed Obama was purposely leading the country toward unrest so as to declare martial law and cancel the election.

I think most people will interpret such a claim for what it is. No basis in reality.

Question: is there martial law in Greece, France, Spain, or England? Have they canceled any elections? So why do you bring them up? Nothing to do with the extremity of the statement you made.

Apparetnly I expected too much in believing liberals could connect the dots and figure it out for themselves. Some will drink the koolaid with Reverend Obama until the country falls down.

The basis is quite clear. Obamanomics repeats the mistakes of Greece exponentially. Are you telling me that this elitist professor is unable to see that repeating the same mistakes which have bankrupted other countries will not have a similar outcome here?

Have you failed to notice the thuggary tactics this administration and its DOJ has used against several states? It is not a stretch at all. Bilderburg begins meeting tomorrow in St. Moritz. Every indication by the IMF is to speed up the elimination of the US dollar as the world currency. There is no better way to speed that up than for Obama to continue his destructive policies in destroying American exceptionalism.
