Everything!
Give "responsibility" back to people.
What about subsidies to farmers? Would Americans be willing to pay more for food if there were no subsidies? Could US farmers survive or would the US have to import cheap food from other countries?
We need to get back to basic in our homes and at the govt. level...till that happens we will just keep going down hill..faster and faster.
Its just the way it is..
The problem isn't people, it's the system that people are living in. They're encouraged to take on massive debt by government policies and then we're surprised when people get in over their head (ex. write-offs for home mortgage interest, etc.). The same is true for businesses, where tax policy encourages borrowing.
What's needed is stable rules and stable currency which would allow people to make better decisions in the marketplace. This can't happen if deficit spending continues. And spending on what? Bailouts for bankers? Sending money to foreign dictators? Maintaining huge military bases overseas? That's not to mention the gobs of waste on special interests, social security, and welfare.

1st off..I see your from Europe (I'll assume your an American living in Europe)...cause if not I think you people have your own problems and should'nt worry about ours.
2nd..See America has enough food to go around but when farmers are paid..NOT TO FARM...Problem.
Cut the subsidies...as long as anyone who want to farm can..See the free market will always win out if the Govt. gets the heck out of the way.

You just negated any credibility you might have had with the personal attacks.
Grow up.
