Some would say that the WIC program is money well spent because a healthy diet while pregnant and breast feeding produces a healthier baby which means lower average doctor and hospital bills later.
I have no problem with a generous food stamp program as long as it's buying healthy food only. I don't think we want mobs of hungry people hunting and gathering food in the streets of the US.
But we dont't want kids who eat a steady diet of crap either. The just end up unhealthy both physically and mentally and are another contributing cause to the decline of America,
Or storming the gilded white towers with pitchforks and torches. Come to think of it, maybe what we need is in fact a cessation of all entitlements. Stop UI, stop DI, stop Medicare, stop food stamps, WIC, TANF, Section 8, you name it. I think it is high time for a revolution.

I hate lazy slackers and I've been on my own since I was 17, recently retired from the military and stay pretty active. My legs are fine.
Most people like you that get on the defensive are usually 2nd or 3rd generation welfare sponges. Somewhere along the line somebody in your immediate family probably once worked for a few weeks and paid taxes, so now you feel justified in raping the honest taxpayers and the truely needy as violently as possible.
You may continue to get by, but I know your 4th generation sponge-rats will be eating out of the gutters. Everybody is tired of the hood rat mentality.

Yes it is protection money in a sense. We're paying for a civilized and peaceful country. Look what happened in Russia and China after their revolutions: war, famines, death camps etc.

We're too busy working, being productive to march every 2 weeks.
I would rather work for free for a wealth creator than take a handout from them.
