New poll in Pennsylvania today confirms similar numbers found in polls by Quinnipiac and PPP.

Obama's Performance?
48% Disprove
41% Approve
10% Undecided

Does Obama Deserve Re-election or is it time to give someone new a chance?
44% Obama
50% New Person
6% Undecided

(This is a poll with a party breakdown of 50% Democrat, 41% Republican, and 9% Independent)

The fact that 44% of the population think that Obama deserves re-election says alot about the poor state of our educational system. Or perhaps not, half the populaton is below average on the IQ curve...and you can't fix stupid.

True. But 50% voting for a "New Person" does equal "not Democrat Party".

Too early for polls but this can't be a good sign. If Obama loses PA it's a wrap.

Ouch!

But polls at this stage in the game are pretty meaningless. If the economy turns around , so do those numbers. Unfortunately, I believe his policies will only make things worse.

And as another poster aptly observed, who's to say PA thinks Romney or Pawlenty or Santorum has better ideas? They've already roundly rejected Santorum, for example.
