I see... not to long ago when the DOW was higher... it was the economy is better because of Obama... now that the DOW is lower, it's the economy is worse because of the Republicans... is it any surprise that liberals think like they do?
Tell us what you've been saying about the economy, since Obama took office. And, does it give you reasons to point fingers at Obama versus the opportunities if the economy were doing better?

As for coal, mining coal is environmentally hazardous and dangerous. And currently the concept of "Clean Coal" is nothing but a advertising slogan for the coal lobby.
And don't even start talking about hydro-fracking for natural gas. People by the thousands are getting sick and water is being contaminated by hydro-fracking.
Nobody is saying that solor and wind are they entire answer to solving the nation's energy problems by moving forward with them and lessening the dependence on coal, oil and natural gas is a hell of lot better than keeping the status quo.
Exactly! Let's ban coal-mining, stop drilling for oil, tax gas more so everybody buys a Volt. Right? Wait a minute, where are we going to get electricity to charge all those Volts?
Try this on for size. The republicans were powerless to stop ANYTHING 0bama tried to do, because his party controlled EVERYTHING. 0bama pushed thru his agenda, and now look where we are, and our limping national economy. Seems like the republicans were correct to oppose 0bama's agenda.
We are living in a crumbling, unstable economy, because the republicans were unable to stop 0bama.

What this country needs, in terms of energy usage, is the same thing a great number of people in this country need... trim the fat. We over-consume, WAY WELL FAR BEYOND what we have the resources available for. That is a fact.

Stimulus money was a necessity to address the ills of irresponsible management of this country for years, if not decades. And if it covers up the blood of anybody, it is because otherwise all the downtrodden people would have is open wounds.
I shouldn't be posting when I'm in a big hurry to get out the door, I meant Clinton/Bush Jr. Not the old man.....whom I admired...by the by. Not my politics but a good honest man who meant to do it all right but again ...it was the economy stupid...happening.
