Most are too intelligent to fall for seedy right wing smears regarding a personal matter between consenting adults.

Like how he votes and his stance on the issues important to them.

As a Jew, I have to say it has a lot less to do with IQ and a lot more to do with how Jews stick together to a fault. Obviously, this is true amongst many ethnicities and creeds. It is most definitely true with us.
His district could easily reject him, demand him to resign and then elect someone else that votes like him. The issue, of course, is the next elected official might not be Jewish.

Sometimes we stick together to a fault, and I believe this to be the case in regards to the high percentage of people in that district supporting Weiner.
