No, affirmative action assures that qualified minorities get located and accepted into college or hired at a job.

The standard reply is that blacks have been discriminated against for centuries by whites, therefore Affirmative Action is an acceptable discrimination since it targets whites. My thought has always been, When are we going to end the racial mindset of our country? It certainly doesn't look like the public institutions are going to do it. It seems that the strategy is to reverse the racism rather than attack it.
Seems most people missed the day in kindergarden when they taught us that two wrongs don't make a right.

Instead, affirmative action ensures that less qualified minorities are hired or admitted over more qualified candidates.

How terrible.
Really?

You see me complaining? I'm not some dipsh*t clown whining about something as stupid as race in sports. I'm simply pointing out the fallacy in the OP's argument.

Again, the NBA is DOMINATED by white males. Period, point blank. And so is the NFL, the NHL and the MLB. Sports PERIOD is the domain of white males. Only the players for the most part are black (in some sports).

Nonsense. Qualified whites lose nothing. Ever. Minorities are taking NOTHING from white folks.

Unqualified whites lose nothing either. In fact, corporate America has historically been an affirmative action policy for white males.

So its about merit? Aha!
