Yemen really needs to speed up the transitional process because the longer they wait, the longer things are going to get out of control. For anyone who thinks the central government is still capable of taking these cities back is daydreaming because the president's plan have backfired and now its really hard to retain Zinjibar and Ja'ar in Abyan.
Unlikely to happen ever; and the fact remains, propping up questionable leaderships only results in making yourself an enemy of the people of that country. No friends over there at all now. Even bailing out Kuwait hasn't brought any great returns on investment.
