I must see things differently from everyone on here. I'm not chained to a party, but I am very conservative so naturally, I will end up voting for more Republicans than anything. There's nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean I'm brainwashed or not thinking for myself or just voting on party lines without doing my research.
People should be voting for the people who represent their ideals better than the others. Who are you to say that a straight Republican ticket does not best represent one's ideals?
How do you not see how offensive you are being?
Poor old tropolis just can't understand that Obama has failed to convince many of us of the right that he is the man for the job. Saying that ATMs had anything at all to do with the present economy, off teleprompter, tells me that he is very clueless about many things. I will not vote for someone like him after his 2 1/2 year performance. I won't vote for one of the Republicans and that is the one who the party leaders want. My vote has to go to someone who thinks like I do and the fact that in a week or two his family is going on another of their vacations to Africa when so many of us can't even drive somewhere for a tiny few days while his family can go to that place on the public dime tells me too much about what he really knows.
As far as the 83% goes I can fully understand and agree with not wanting another 4ys of Obama. That said replacing him with a Republican that is essentially the same thing with an R after his name (Romney) accomplishes nothing.
Neither party is going to offer decent candidates that actually represent the wishes of their constituents unless members hold their feet to the fire and demand decent and qualified candidates. Both parties count on their members willingness to vote for whatever crappy candidate they trot out based on nothing other than the moronic notion of "he's a member of my party, he must be better than the other guy". The only beneficiary of that line of thought is government. It continues to grow as our rights and freedoms are diminished.
With very few exceptions both major parties offer little in the way of actual change. They are both in the business of deceiving the voters in the interest of further empowering themselves and an ever growing government.
Agree with you on this. Both political parties just want to have "their" president for eight years whenever possible, so we get one loser for eight, to be replaced with another for eight more years I have not seen a difference between the two parties for quite a few years already.
Hannity wasn't on tonight but that is ok since you didn't know that for a good reason.
It really doesn't matter if he was on or not. He likes to rile people up with his hatred. I find it very sad that he stoops that low to get ratings. I find it even sadder that some actually believe him.
What a ridiculous post yours is Don't you realize that approximately the same number of Democrats will do the same for their candidate?
We have two major political parties, and our nation is just about equally divided between the two. When this happens at elections time, the independent voters are the ones that make a difference at a national level.
Would you say stupid along with ridiculous the way so many of the lefties here have been doing?
Read the link and then tell me what it says. I have never heard a number like that one in my life. I think that most Republicans realize that we have nearly made it through a very bad time and they don't want us to have to go through another 4 years of the same. I would never vote for anyone just because he was a Republican. Hell, when I voted for Sarah and that old white haired man running with her I was voting against Obama. I picked what appeared to me to be the best man and voted for him because Sarah was with him.
Now that I have had my fun let me tell you that I probably won't vote if some of the Republicans who are running are nominated. I just can't vote for Romney but if I use the medical plans of the two as the final measure i may well be able to vote for him since I just don't lie Obama's. Do you realize that many of us don't like Obamacare and that of all the laws likely to be repealed if the GOP takes over Congress that, as his main law, will surely be vetoed. I can't possibly vote for Obama.
At the national level, yes. At the local level I'm more open. For instance, I'm adopting a "wait and see" attitude with my governor, Rick Snyder, of Michigan. If I were living here at the last election, I would have voted for him. But would I vote Republican at the national level at this point in time? No, because I see what wing controls the GOP--the far, far right, and I can't stand it.
Who does Obama belong to? Some political group or groups and none of them are people I want to go along with. SEIU, AFL - CIO, other labor unions, all those lobbyists hanging around. Nope they can have Obama but if they can't buy enough votes in 2012 they lose.

In other words I am not allowed to vote. I can't bring myself to vote for Romney and a couple of others that the establishment GOP want. Therefore, i will stick with the Tea Party and try to force the establishment Republicans to be a little more constituent oriented. The Dems won't get that since they think they have to keep Obama in order to win.

You voted for McCain because of Sarah. Even my staunch 90 year old republican father drew the line at that. So he didn't vote. What don't you like about what Obamacare, as you call it.

Remember that the Dems have only had one term in a row since FDR and Truman with nearly 8 years.
The establishment politicians of both parties are always the same and certainly are now. However, the Tea Party is pushing the Republicans to straighten up a bit or wish they had.

Hannity is nothing but a big government Republican shill that wraps himself in the flag in an effort to further his agenda. Sadly, that agenda involves furthering his party rather than benefiting the nation.
