Go ahead and listen to what they did and when you hear the part where the NBC people edited the words as said by the kids tell me why this is not a big deal. They thought they could get by with it all by putting a picture of a soldier saluting at the order and then bringing the kids back with the, originally three words cut out. Oh yes, if you listen they didn't get in the word, indivisible, either. Sloppy job of editing but the purpose of it was so obvious.

Is there not a chance that someone at NBC wanted to further his agenda and thought he could get by with that? I think that someone thought the people of this nation are as stupid as our politicians think they are and that they could get by with that travesty.

I don't watch either NBC or golf so I had to see this one on my computer this morning before I introduced it. Yep, it was those nasty folks at Yahoo reporting it that told me about it.
I have heard it many times today and it seems that those three words, indivisible being one of them, aren't there. Try it and see if you can't see why those thousands of people who griped very early in the whole thing caused NBC to give the apology words to the poor sports caster, who had nothing at all to do with it, to read for them. They made the whole thing worse by trying to make people believe that it was an accident.
It was odd, they issued an apology immediately, but hey...cries for BOYCOTT are always fun and amusing.
Do you call immediately three hours after doing the deed? It appears to me that the apology was to try to make all those griping people believe it really was an accident and after the apology they played it again and still the two words weren't there.
I see that there is one lefty who doesn't really care about the words, under God, so taking them out in something like that wouldn't lead to more editing of what kids say on TV and eventually in courts and everywhere else. When you stop playing what was said you can change the meaning of anything and that is just more left leaning agenda being rammed down the throats of people who don't mind. Too many of us do mind.
