What "fiasco"? These guys were on Church property and were just trying to get a rise out of somebody. Nobody "became too heavy-handed." The guys were just escorted off Church property and left to do what they wanted to do on city property. There's nothing wrong with that.

Boo freakin hoo. If they weren't there causing a scene they wouldn't have been asked to leave. The fact that the employee might have rattled off a Bible quote doesn't change the fact that they needed to be kicked out.

Is it the norm in places for PDA? Sure seems like it on here, but it sure isn't in New England. In New England you can get busted by the Cops for acts of PDA no matter who and what you are.

Save it for private places.

If someone is grinding in a public pool, they are making it everyone's business. You can't just do whatever you want in public and get away with it, some things should be reserved for the privacy of one's bedroom (or hey, do it anywhere you want in your house or heck, your own pool, just NOT IN PUBLIC).

Besides, doesn't this violate what the libbies say about keeping out of the gays' bedrooms? The gays now can even bring it out into the open and essentially have sex in a public area and we're still not allowed to say anything? Hmmm, that's a new one.

(Unless you plan to lock your children inside until they're 18. I'm sure that wouldn't backfire at all. )

Quit using your children as a prop for your own intolerance.
You ARE NOT allowed to tell someone how to be a parent. I for one would not allow my children to see anybody making out in a public arena, gay or straight. I believe it to be objectionable.

Try to stop me.

I think that's also when you know an argument is bunk, when people pull out the "children" card. It's the last resort of somebody who can't validate their position, so they rely on fear instead. "What about the CHILDREN??!?!?!?"
So you believe it's appropriate for children to witness strangers making out in public? Doesn't matter if they're gay or not. Obviously you have no children if you don't see why parents are protective of them.

I agree with you, but wonder how you can prevent the seeing, since you would be making the discovery at the same instant you would protect your own children.

I don't play games much, and once a retarded man in a public place and in wheel chair, touched my wife somewhere, and she wasn't pleased. He got a very stern warning that if it happened again retarded or not, it was gonna hurt. He managed to get the point.

I don't see any PDA's in my world, but I live rural. If this is common I don't know it.

I wouldn't go so far as to taking someone's means of earning a living from them. You might reserve that for more serious acts and give the guy another chance. He's obviously not the smartest guy around.

For one day. As I said.

Bet you'll be shooting for a week soon, though.

Proof, please. Did you personally interview everyone there?

And speaking of ignorance....gays don't even know where to put their johnsons. Pretty rudimentary stuff, philly....
