How well I recall that amazing July night! I was in the Boy Scouts, and we were camping out. Yet one of the scout leaders brought along a generator and small TV set so we could watch the landing.

To many people it very much is, I was surprised to run into someone this weekend who was 100% convinced it was all a lie... hence my thread. It's never crossed my mind to not believe it was real and talking to this guy didn't change that.
I did a unit on the Space Race towards the end of this year with my 9th Grade US History classes (about 55 or 60 kids). Over 1/2 of them firmly believe it was faked. This in classes where several of the parents work for NASA (some of those kids were the loudest proponents of "fake").
why do these conspiracy nuts keep posting garbage like chemtrails, fake moon landing, etc
