How well I recall that amazing July night! I was in the Boy Scouts, and we were camping out. Yet one of the scout leaders brought along a generator and small TV set so we could watch the landing.

I did a unit on the Space Race towards the end of this year with my 9th Grade US History classes (about 55 or 60 kids). Over 1/2 of them firmly believe it was faked. This in classes where several of the parents work for NASA (some of those kids were the loudest proponents of "fake").
