That was my question; if they are against Medicaid, why accept it at their clinic? Nothing says they couldn't use a sliding scale and private donations, right?

Because it is the way the system is structured, you must play by the rules of the system until it is changed to a better system.
Let's try this hypothetical. Suppose I am a senior. Further suppsoe I hate Social Security and Medicare, further suppose I paid into it my whole life so I had no extra funds to attempt to accumulate funds to provide for an alternative. further suppose I run for office and say I hate Medicare and Social Security and I want to change them. Is my only alternative to forgo those programs in order to criticize them? Something of a Catch 22 isn't it Capt. Yosarian?

Another false analogy. Mr. Bachman doesn't have to accept medicaide funding..That's it. You can make up whatever comfortable false analogy you want. They took money from an institution that they think is socialism. You're not getting around that with bogus spin.
