You'd think this might have an effect on the sales of Tyson chicken. Let's see what happens.

Chlorine is commonly used as an antimicrobial treatment in chicken production

Move along folks there is nothing to see here....the US food supply is the bestest in the world...your government loves you and protects you and Tyson has your best health interests at heart!

Someone got an acid in too close of range with a base. They are commonly used in many things, but why did Tyson lie about the number of affected people on day one? What's more, if there was a chlorine gas release that sickened that many people why didn't Tyson contact a hazardous response team? Maybe they did, but they lied on the first day so they're covering something up.

Tyson slaughter houses and chicken processing plants hire many undocumented workers. This is pure speculation, but I bet that's why the set up their in-house clinic and why the lied on the first day.

I refuse to eat Tyson, Simmons, and Pilgrims Pride chicken for many reasons. One is the way they treat their growers; the other is the crap that is required to pump into those chickens for them to grow big and grow fast. Tyson is a tyrant with their growers and they hire undocumented workers to increase profits and be able to run over people who have no rights.

A chlorine gas release can be very serious. Where the heck was their safety management and their environmental manager? Something isn't right.

Stop accusing Tyson of doing such things. They are a huge major corporation, and as such, they'd NEVER lie to the public nor would they hire undocumented workers.

I'm sick of the liberal lies and a mainstream media that demonizes businesses. Don't you know that they give people jobs? Next thing you know, you guys will want them to actually follow those stupid OSHA regulations.

Since it was chlorine gas I'd venture a guess that somebody that couldn't read english mixed bleach and ammonia together trying to clean or disinfect something.
