I agree that taxing the rich is pointless. The economy is global now. If we tax the rich, they will just continue to move their operations over seas. The reason why outsourcing is so rampant is because America taxes businesses to death. This is also why the richest Americans have billions of dollars in banks over the ocean where it can't be taxed by our government. Once upon a time, American companies relied on Americans to help run their businesses. Today, these same companies pay foreigners in other countries a fraction of a price for the same job as an American. American companies used to have to pay American employees enough to afford their products. With the new global economy, Americans are no longer the primary manufacturers or consumers in the world and the rich don't care. The new normal of high unemployment in America benefits no one but the ultra rich. This economic downturn for most Americans that has fattened the rich's pockets has been carefully orchestrated and wasn't an accident.

I agree that taxing the rich is pointless, but I'll take it a step further and say that on principle, the rich shouldn't be taxed any more than anyone else.

Actually the giant unfunded mandate problems are calculated by future revenues, not current revenues.

The unfunded mandates arent considered "debt" because according to the government, they are under no obligation to pay them out.

Tell me why the "rich" should pay becuase your left wing politicians keep spending more than they can account for?

Why do many people move from one state to another, one city to another? Taxes. Same with corporations. Move from one country to another with lower taxation. Why can't our genius leaders figure this out and make the US business friendly. Hell add on the burdensome regulations imposed. They are either too stupid or just don't care. I think more of the don't care club as long as they get voters to buy their class warfare BS.

Geez. They ARE under an obligation to pay them out. That's what a mandate is.

And guess what, the spending is under your right wing politicians too.

Ooh, those burdensome regulations. Like making sure your kid's teddy bear doesn't catch fire. Like making sure your water isn't full of poison. Pooooor corporations. Making record profits right now. Yeah, the US is REAL unfriendly to business.

Go get a clue, k?
