We have even less reason to attack Iran. That they threatened the Sunni Arabians or the Likkud in Israel is not good enough for me.
It is NOT time to attack Iran or any other country in the Middle East. It IS time to wash our hands of the entire region and let the religious fanatics and the oil industry thugs figure things out or start the Forever War. If that happens we can sell weapons to both sides and recover some of our losses.

If you get out before you place a puppet government in Iran then you effectively gave up the entire reason you were there in the first place. You wanted to control the trade routes from SE Asia, Russia and China to the rest of the planet.
Whoever controls those routes gets to determine the direction of the next century.
Just because the government didn't deliver your fair share of oil to you after Iraq fell doesn't mean they didn't do it out of their own self interest.
all that money spent and we have NOTHING to show for it. iraq is still unstable, with corrupt leadership, and afghanistan is a quagmire. did we expect any different? look at the federal reserve-unwilling to account for the money that was stolen from the american people and "LOST".

we can be a 3rd world country at the rate we are going, even with fighting all the wars everywhere.
