No here is the scary stuff, the damm strings attached by the fed that we will pay forever. We dont need the fed and they are not welcome. We do fine with our all volunteer fire dept,town Marshall, high tech library paid for with local prop taxes . We pay 25$ a family for our ambulance service operated by volunteers for maint and gas and such and it is also voluntary but the majority chip in and all is well. we dont want the feds here to ruin it with gov employees and unions driving up our property taxes. Keep out .our hormone free grass finished beef may be a problem to obamas big corp buddies as well as our farmers markets but too bad we dont need no lier sugar daddy we do just fine on our own

"Slick Villy" as I call him used to be the governor of my state so I know all about the lying crooked cronie. He's one the global warmers should go after as he breathes too much IMO.

They've already started in prior to this order with the food safety bill ...................

Tom Coburn (R., Oklahoma), who argued against the bill’s $1.4 billion price tag, which is not offset by spending cuts elsewhere in the budget. “Far from offering common-sense reforms, this bill doubles-down on the status quo — which failed to prevent the salmonella outbreak — with 250 pages of new bureaucracy and regulations,” wrote Coburn in a USA Today op-ed last week. “Expanding the Food and Drug Administration will harm small businesses and raise prices at the grocery store — all without having a meaningful impact on food safety.”

More reason to keep em out,years ago the stupid county allowed the feds to build a low income apt complex here,well unless your family owns a ranch or local business there are no jobs here so we wound up with a bunch of gov freeloaders from parts unknown living here, free school and foodstamps and no workers

I am going to say that not one of our lefty people read both your links. Maybe some of each but not all of either if any of either.

Only a fool from the left lean could fail to see the beginnings of so many things from Agenda 21 in that Obama type "law". It is all there and when they say they are trying to defend the rural people it seems to me that they are trying to defend us from ourselves. That grouping on that council has all of his appointees in the Cabinet plus some others I don't really want to see making rules for we of the sticks.

Anyone who read the other link would see just what many of us learned in college very soon after it happened. Of course, left leaners are going to have to say this is all lies because the Communist government of the Soviet Union just wasn't like that. Fools all, but they will make the noise as if it were us of the rural bent who are the fools. I really think that most of them here don't believe that story about the Ukraine and Uncle Joe Stalin.

It was a lie when Reagan said it 30 years ago and it's a lie today.

Tell the mother buying meat at the supermarket that the USDA meat inspector isn't real there to help and food and pesticide regulations are unnecessary.
Tell the businessman on a 747 that the air traffic controller isn't real there to help.
Tell the factory worker that the OSHA inspector isn't real there to help and safety regulations are unnecessary.
The same for FBI agents; Postal workers; the military, etc., etc.

Since the EPA came into existence, the air is 95% cleaner than 1960s levels. I find that the government has long proven that they're there to help.

I'm sure that many of the "stick" folks don't need any help from Obama and sure aren't asking for any.

Folks don't know what the communists did back any the day. Hell my kids aren't even being taught about the wall anymore. Most have no clue about east/west germany back in the day or even the cold war. Don't teach em about the evil's of communism and it doesn't exist it's just this grand love fest where everybody is equal is what they want the youth of today to know.

My fav president said this........"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."

It's looking more and more the last part he feared the worst is going to happen unless something is done.

The agenda 21'ers were surely hailing this one. The ICLEI folks were probably holding a big party after the signing. Many aren't paying attention to the work they are doing for the UN boys. Look at how many small and even large communities they have signed up to their nonsense and most citizens have no idea they have that's for sure
