What is it with idiots that presume to have any right to edit any comment someone makes? If you disagree with it, say so. Even the most screwball of egotists , like Rush or Beck, don't take such liberties.

If you were denied a home equity line of credit on your home, or another credit card, does that mean you would now stop paying the bill on the loan or your credit cards? No, it doesn't. But somehow, the people that consider themselves of superior intelligence seem to think that not getting more credit means the end of paying our debt.
The reality is that we will be unable to borrow any money down the road if we raise the debt ceiling, since it proves we have no desire to control our country's debts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we were having to take on debt just to make payments to our current obligations, and that not raising the debt ceiling will put the country into default on our loans.
Example: a family has been spending more money than it has coming in, so it's been making payments partially with money loaned by the bank. It gets to a point where the money coming from the bank loan plus the available income isn't enough to cover the existing outstanding bills (and interest on debts), so the choice is to ask the bank to increase the available loan limit and borrow more to pay bills, or tell the bill collectors you're tapped out (default).
So not raising the debt ceiling would be analogous to stopping payment on your credit card bills, because without more loans you don't have the funds to keep paying existing debt.
Admittedly, I haven't been following this debate in great detail, so if I'm wrong then let me know.

than the actual issue at hand? Seems as though they care more about the damage they think this could do to Republicans, than to the country. As always, it shows what liberals truly care about: their greedy, lazy, mooching selves.

Since I am a Centrist, I feel ones comments are for them to make, however misguided I think they are. "Having" to edit someones statements, only shows inability to argue with it. Boehner is setting Cantor up to be the scapegoat. How's that for an opinion to argue.
