I get it. You believe that homosexuality is wrong and sinful and evil. You believe that homosexuals are icky and gross and abominations in the eyes of your God.
Sinful? Yes. "icky and gross"? I wouldn't say that.

You believe that crafting our laws to enforce your religious doctrine is a good thing.
Not necessarily.

You believe that homosexuals should be discriminated against and repressed (perhaps once again executed, imprisoned, or civilly committed) using the force of civil law.
Please stop putting words in my mouth. I think they should have the EXACT SAME RIGHTS I do. No discrimination. That means no one should care what they do in their homes. Nor should they get to redefine institutions such as marriage to suit their wishes.

You believe in religious theocracy whereas I believe in treating others as you want to be treated as well as in freedom, liberty, and American values.
No...I really don't. But it's easier to attack us when you can tell others what we believe, isn't it?
Honestly, it just gets tiring trying to deal with you.
Gay people are fighting over human rights! It's not just about what you mention above, they want the same things as any hetero person wants, including the right to marry and have it acknowledged by the church. When your whole identity is constantly degraded, just how do you move on to that "so much more to life?"
This is the most honest statement of the homosexual agenda I have ever encountered. Not only do homosexuals want the right to marry BUT they want the church to acknowledge the marriage as legitimate. This goes way beyond civil rights. You characterize the struggle as one for human rights, whatever that means. But in essence the homosexuals want everyone, including churches, to acknowledge that they are ok in their homosexuality, that there is no essential difference from a spiritual perspective between homosexuality and heterosexuality. It's all about acceptance. The bottom line, however, is that when you are so conflicted about your identity that you need for others to tell you that you're ok, down deep you know that you have the problem, not society at large.
Why? You argue for the government to rule according to your wishes....why are you the one that gets to decide that? What makes your point of view any better?
The government is designed to look out for the needs of the minority. That's why we have a Constitutional Republic and not a direct Democracy.
I don't really need to address his points I would be repeating the same things that has already been stated..therefore I don't need to.
In other words you have no idea what you're talking about, and we'll stick to Hammer's well evidenced response to indicate that gays have suffered a lot, including being executed for being gay.
One cannot live/flaunt a lifestyle that counter to an organized church's religious behavioral beliefs and then expect a burial based on that which he/she spent a lifetime defying. To expect as much is lunacy.
