Not a big deal, but ambassador fundraiser (which is a problem on a whole other level) should've at least sent some sort of staffer regardless

So what were they suppose to do with a bust that was on loan to the White House when the decided they weren't going to display it any longer in the oval office? Or should foreign powers be able to dictate to the President what decorations appear in the oval office?

The statue IS in another country. How would you like Americans to honor this statue? Perhaps the American ambassador could host a lavish breakfast for the people attending the unveiling? Perhaps the American ambassador could attend that unveiling? Perhaps the American ambassador could make a brief speech to the attendees, honoring Reagan's legacy?

Oh yeah, the ambassador DID do all those things.
