Coney Bathroom Workers Ration Toilet Paper | NBC New York
"Employees at the Coney Island bathrooms privately told the Post the department isn't stocking enough toilet paper to meet the demand, which is why they are forced to ration what they have."

In many European cities you have to pay 50 cents (equivalent) to use a public restroom. I think its a great idea for this country as well.

Agreed. That's not much at all. Unless of course, you frequent the downtown area of your city often and drink copious amounts of coffee.

Back in the day restrooms in dept stores had one or two "free stalls" and the rest cost a dime to open the door.

I guess I'm a dinasaur here if I remember that one. It was Macy's on 34th street. I was just a kid and remember thinking when I grow up and become rich I'm going to use those stalls

I remember pay stalls but I don't remember them in the same rest room as free stalls. Could've been there, just don't remember them. This was in Pittsburgh.

Do they have a wee little person who runs under the stall to snatch the paper from your fingers if you yank the roll hard and let the paper spin off the roll?

This is what happens when you have a city of 8 million and a public workforce of over 300,000, plus millions of retirees enjoying fat pensions and cheap, sub-market-cost health care benefits.

Perhaps the douche-bags like NYSUT, DC37 and the other lowlife public employee unions want to open another 10 or 15 un-neccesary schools and hospitals to provide make-work jobs for more illegal aliens soon-to-be union members and increase their dues revenue even more.
