Well said subsound. It's always funny how Republicans get defensive and flap around like a fish out of water when they get called out for their obvious racism.

White males are also the majority of the US population, they're also the majority in the Democratic party. What's your point?

Democrat idiots are the only ones who are flopping around like a fish out of water in this thread.

How does it feel to support quite possibly the most hateful person in the United States? How does it feel to share your party and support a man who runs websites designed to cause nothing but emotional harm to family members of deceased homosexuals or military personal?

Nice the KKK and neo-Confederates are trying to re-brand itself, since Duke hasn't held a GOP since 2000 as a "member of the Louisiana House of Representatives and Republican executive-committee chairman in his district". At least the bigots know where to go to get their endorsement.
Maybe he should run as a Democrat for Senator Byrd's seat?

Or he could become a drunk driving murderer and run against Scott Brown for Teddy's old seat. He's got a ton of options in the Democrat party, they love racist white guys who want to "change".

Was Thurmond or Helms KKK members?
Thurmond has NEVER admitted wrong about anything. In fact, he said that he was simply following the laws of the land. He wasn't the least bit apologetic and held the same views until he died.

Helms was unrepentant too, and in fact, a case can be made that he's WORSE than Thurmond was.

No...they weren't in the KKK. So what? Thurmond was the governor of Jim Crow South Carolina and was a strong proponent of segregation and institutionlized racism. Helms was so pathetic and feckless that the KKK wouldn't have him even if he did want to be a member.

Still are, only difference is they used to be primarily white racists, not just the opposite..

Were they, or were they not, following the laws of the land? There was a time when the Supreme Court ruled slavery was legal as well..
