Given the arguably pompous nature of your chosen username and it's implications of a level of enlightenment those of us that fail to embrace your ideology are unlikely to attain I've got to wonder how you can avoid objecting to your own posts.

LOL I am relieved that this is a joke. Although, in my experience, the Onion often is not too far from the truth, in their satire.

Part of the joke in satire is that it's presented in a credible manner. It's meant to draw you in, to better appreciate the point the satire is trying to make. The Onion is masterful in the art of the satire.
