Did you get a raise? Was your raise as much as Obama approved?

Here's the statement White House spokesman Eric Schultz released in response to our inquiries:
President Obama is committed to continuing to reduce costs in government, and that is why over the past year, the average salary of a White House employee went down, the total number of White House staffers went down, and the total amount spent on White House salaries went down. Pay increases were given for a variety of reasons, ranging from promotions to additional work responsibilities.

I got a large raise this last year.

Here I will help the less fortunate and repost the pertinent part:

CONgress should work for the privilege of serving the people and get nothing at all.

I got a raise, as did my husband. He just got another raise yesterday. These raises are w/o promotions, BTW.

You aren't a good worker....you need to be something like Special Assistant to the President And Director of Message Planning or Director of African American media....

So who got the 86% raise?

No you really did not address the question, and no Congress is not going to work for free, not a very bright answer, even for you. I was just wondering if the House got a raise this year, we all know the answer but you are too busy whining about the Whitehouse to wine about your boys and girls voting themselves a raise.
I just wanted to make that clear. Done

Why can't CONgress(and the POTUS for that matter) work for free?

And the question WAS answered, you just didn't like the answer....or can't read properly.

How do you know when people didn't get a raise? They brag that they did on C/D.

(In before "you're just bitter because you didn't get one" BS)
