On July 5th President Obama appointed an openly gay women to serve on the West Point Board. This is the first time an openly Gay person has been appointed in this capacity to advise the administration on Military issues.
Congratulations to Brenda Fulton and thankyou to President Obama for helping to modernize our military.
There is scant information on Fulton aside from trumpeting the fact that she is gay.
Apparently she brings no other outstanding credentials.
How sad that your greatest accomplishment or reason for promotion is based on who you choose to sleep with, or that you're a member of a protected class (gay).
If the woman were the best choice to serve I'd have no problem with this but something tells me that isn't the case.
What excatly tells you this? Gay people can't be the most qualified or as qualified as every other applicant?
