Does it really exist? FEAR of gays? or is this just another political ploy by the left?
If it really does exist, it may be a mental/emotional disorder.

Homosexuality was listed for all of the years we even had medical books, until as recently as the early 1970s as a mental/emotional disorder, also, so why not?

I do not believe it is a mental disorder at all, An obsessive disorder yes! an obsession yes. So many people obsess over these things they cannot seem to grasp, or understand, they then become obsessive about them. That is not a mental disorder.

Unless some choose to beleive that an obsessive is a mental disorder.

A "defect"? So by your rationale your ability to shove a penis into a Vagina is normal?
You have basically compared yourself to a dog or mice since all they do is screw and replicate.

"Schaller and colleagues (Faulkner, Schaller, Park, & Duncan, 2004; Park, Faulkner, & Schaller, 2003; Schaller & Duncan, 2007) have argued that over the course of human evolution, people developed a “behavioral immune system” that functioned to shield them from exposure to novel pathogens or parasites. Individuals belonging to unfamiliar groups, especially those who engaged in unusual practices regarding food, cleanliness, and sex, posed a higher risk of carrying novel (and therefore particularly dangerous) infectious agents. Perceiving such individuals would thus activate the behavioral immune system and cause avoidance behavior and the accompanying emotion of disgust. It is important to note that this argument does not assume that all or even most of these outgroups actually did pose a risk of infection. But because risks of failing to detect a contagious individual (serious illness and possibly premature death) greatly outweighed the cost of wrongly identifying a harmless individual as contagious, one would expect the behavioral immune system to display hypervigilance (Schaller & Duncan, 2007). This hypervigilance may be especially acute in those individuals who are especially sensitive to disgust, the emotion that drives the behavioral avoidance system."

The naturalness of homosexuality Sexual Identity Hard-Wired by Genetics,

I say that's bull **** and the APA agrees.

"Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors."

It doesn't matter that "many think" something which is in direct contradiction to the sentence above. If you have an issue with the APA's position you'll just have to show up and harass them at their annual convention the way gay activists did in the early 1970s.
Nope, the APA does not agree with you that homosexuality is a choice or is learned behavior or even just a behavior.

I suppose all you can do to try to make your case that homosexuality is a choice, is pull a few sentences out of context to misrepresent the APA. Same as you misrepresent the American Psychiatric Association and the history of the DSM.

Face it, no reputable health professional agrees with your uninformed bigoted stance.

FTR: I'm not repulsed by something I don't understand. Butt sex isn't brain surgery.
This must explain why about 40% of heterosexuals practice anal sex.
And about 80% oral sex.
And why the vast majority of people with HIV are heterosexual.

Or why so many people talk out of their...
