I know some people think that you can just hold talks with these men and we can negotiate our way into peace with them but honestly anyone who thinks that way has no experience over here with them so sorry but you just don't know what you're talking about. Believe it or not we are making strides by peaceful interactions with the villagers but these are people who are undecided but could be won over or are on our side already (and hoping to keep their loved ones on our side as well) but they're also terrified of the Taliban. Those who are already with the Taliban though are NOT going to be won over by humanitarian assistance and peace talks, they'd happily jump on a plane and take everyone in the US out as soon as someone gave them the means.
Based on the above ^^^, maybe we should just leave them alone? Then they can stay there and be angry about us.

If they are fighting a propaganda race with the US to win people to "their side," then maybe we should just cut relations with them for now. Let things cool off. (Of course, that would require the US pulling out of all the war funding in Middle East.)

Embargos are one way to communicate, until peace treaties can occur.

Yet somehow, I get the reason that the US has personal interests in the region. Otherwise, they could simply put an embargo.

Peace,
brian

Terrorism has been successfully defeated in the past by espionage, infiltration and select assasination.

If we kill the brains, intercept their communications and track their money they cannot harm us.

Anyone can hate us all they want but if they not have money they cannot purchase. If they have money but no communications they cannot coordiante. If they have money and communications but no brains then they cannot plan properly.

Rank and file are a mob unless they are directed by others higher up the chain of command.
Nope, Do you know who has put more fear in this country than any terrorist? Those two clowns that were randomly killing people in the DC area. As for the so-called terrorist that are selecting certain places to go after (twin towers), if they really wanted to "terrorify" this country they would randomly start killing people. I truely belive if we would get out of some of these country's affairs and quit trying to manipulate their governments to suit our corperate needs many of these probelms would not occur. The US is not the world policeman nor is it not completely innocent of terrorist attacks on other countries. If you notice that we only go after countries that have resources and are easily(?) controlled by the military. If it was all about equal rights and democracy why have'nt we invaded China or N. Korea? The US is like a bully that will pick on kids (countries) that it can beat and leave those alone who just happen to be able to defend themselves i.e nukes.

If corperations would get out of the government and stop manipulating the politicans who in turn use the CIA and the military to help them get what that want the world would be a better place.

The war on terrorism, and why it is a failure.. Because we have to admit that they are fighting a religous war against us..while we went to war because of the 9/11 attacks..the fact remains terroist islamic radical groups will continue to try and attack the west for a long time after we finally pull out of the wars.

UK developed anti terrorist device named the Gas Attack Filter technology for the US and Canada. The device is to stop the ingress of bio-chemical lethal gases from a terrorist attack from entering a property, variations can be applied to recreational vehicles. This product is for sale to the general public and can be fitted by a D.I.Y person.
I am looking for a patriot to bring my ideas to the US
