I just wish more people would take the time to inform themselves before spouting off.

PS, I'm not even a Bachman supporter!

What will all the religious fundies do in their spare time if they can't access their porn?

Well, I never heard of Waite Park but that's not odd, the district is a giant arc over the Twin Cities many cities are included, and therefore is quite diverse.

I'm on one end and I'm sure I don't have the same issues of those on the distant end ....I think it was made that way to encompass Ignorant One Issue Voting Catholics, who support this tyrannical misogynist idiot racist.

Pornography usually is obscene. But the Supreme Court has upheld the right to view pornography under the 1st and 14th Amendments.

Personal possession of obscene material in the home may not be prohibited by law. In writing for the Court in the case of Stanley v. Georgia, 394 U.S.557 (1969), Justice Thurgood Marshall wrote, "If the First Amendment means anything, it means that a State has no business telling a man, sitting in his own house, what books he may read or what films he may watch."

And who gets to decide?

"The question as to whether there is such a thing as divine right of kings is not settled in this book. It was found too difficult. That the executive head of a nation should be a person of lofty character and extraordinary ability, was manifest and indisputable; that none but the Deity could select that head unerringly, was also manifest and indisputable; that the Deity ought to make that selection, then, was likewise manifest and indisputable; consequently, that He does make it, as claimed, was an unavoidable deduction."

Mark Twain

No man is perfect, and as such, they shouldn't make personal decisions for other men (and women).

She is personally against porn, that doesn't mean she can take away your First Ammendment Right. Why must the media go off half-cocked every time Ms. Bachmann speaks? Stop being driven by fear.
