There never was a recovery. Spending government money and bailing out everyone and anyone is not a recovery. But it got the GDP numbers to where the economists said the recession was over in 2009.

We've been in a depression and I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

Too many government led schemes in the way for the economy to recover.

Government bleeding jobs, no end in sight
Local government job layoffs is one reason why the U.S. jobs recovery has been so sluggish. Current forces all point to continued cuts.

You're really naive if you think "big government spending" is the root of all evil. As I have pointed out in another thread, Corporate America has not been any kinder towards unemployed people and the American Economy as a whole.

There's no other way jaggy..the stimulus money is all gone. It was propping up budgets and was only a temp measure. I think all were hoping that we'd have really recovered by now and those jobs would have continued and the revenue would have been there to cover the salaries.

But that didn't happen and I don't see any "Plan B" coming from the Fed, Treasury, Congress or the WH.

Celente said it in the documentary "The Fall of The Republic" that the Obama administration will promise job creation, but there will not be any jobs. It isn't in the plan. He was so right it isn't even funny!

I see a light. His name is Ron Paul. The tunnel is very long and dark, but the light is still there.

Last I checked, the President doesn't make laws him/herself. So unless Ron Paul is becoming a dictator with the power to make and pass laws alone, electing him will not change Congress' behavior and antics.
