You and your friends are not typical Illinois or Midwestern voters.

Obama could find the cure for cancer, lower unemployment to 3%, solve the debt, abolish abortion, demand that every grocery store sell guns and wear a cowboy hat 24/7 and you will still hate him with every bone in your body.

I don't pull levers. We are allowed to select the method we will vote and I don't want take a chance on a method that can be tampered with.

I vote for Dems all the time in local elections although that isn't a good way to vote for the winner on state and national elections.

If Brownback runs for governor two years from now and I have to vote for him as a Republican I will just vote for whoever is running for the Dems. I just don't like that man and won't vote for him again.

I always vote for the person and never the party after their name although it may seem I don't. I was far more party dominated when I was an unregistered Democrat but I managed to become a bit more Republican oriented when the Dems started nominating socialists for President.

ah, I see. Thanks for sharing.

I learned that she attended the last two meetings of people like that. However, she was about to finish her 2nd term and finished when we heard about her.

I'm talking about Illinois, not the nation in general. We continue to re-elect the same crooked, pay-to-play thieving politicians time and time again. No, they aren't always democrats (read: George Ryan, Republican), but the democrats are the ones who single-handedly gave us the biggest fiscal nightmare in the US. And yet, we re-elect them! If that's not stupidity then I don't know what is.

I did really like that woman until it became obvious that she was going to be an Obaman and then I changed.

If he could at least pretend that he's working on the national debt I'd despise him a little less. I could care less about social issues BTW.

But he can't do any of those things and you know it.

Oh, you mean Obama's old senate seat? HAHAHAHAAAA, that was one of the ONLY positives to come out of the 2010 midterm elections in Illinois. A republican took Obama's senate seat. LOL.

Hmm, apparently you don't understand the difference between local/state elected officials and federal ones. I wasn't referring to our US senators, more like the governor's race, all of the county races, and the Illinois house and senate races. You know, the people who directly affect Illinois and our budgetary fiasco.
