2007 was the last year a Republican Congress was able to slow down Pelosi and pals.
That year, and in constant 2005 dollars, the US federal government spent a grand total (including both wars) of $2,565,100,000,000. This year Democrats will spend 30% more or $3,341,300,000,000.
Spending increased under Republicans as well. From 1998 to 2007 spending also increased 30%, but that took nine years.
The annual deficit which stood at $151,000,000,000 in 2007 has been increased by 953% under Democrats.

Does Fox News make an announcement or something, saying that the 'following is true', and then recite the news story?
And then, when they are just being 'entertainment', do they make a similar announcement so the viewers are informed of what is 'news' and what is 'entertainment'?
How right she is. With the abysmal failure of obama's stimulus, the tap has run dry, the chickens have come home to roost and the out of control spending we have seen for the last 4 years is crippling this country.
She references Thatcher who was spot on - they have run out of other people's money to spend, but still they want more.
Let this be a lesson to the American people - liberal policies (tax, spend, tax some more) WILL lead you on the path to ruin. We see across the globe and across this nation.

Conservatives talk the "less government, less spending" talk but are as hopeslessly inept as anyone else in walking thw walk. The righties champion St Ronnie as such a hero of conservatism. Please do tell just how much he shrank government during his tenure? The conservative "less spending" is a load of crap, the truth is they favor less spending except when it affects them personally.
