There are scams, true. But what about parochial schools, hospitals affiliated with religious orders, charity hospitals and shelters, abused women and children homes, hospices, and the other myriad services provided by Catholics and other faith-based organizations.

Let the Pastafarians open a couple thousand macaroni clinics and al dente dental clinics. Then maybe they can claim a slice of the tax-free pizze.

Truly all encompassing!
You are most likely a heretic from the liberal rice pasta sect. Wheat flour pasta is the one true religion. What's next, sweet potato pasta?

BBC News - Austrian driver allowed 'pastafarian' headgear photo

An Austrian atheist has won the right to be shown on his driving-licence photo wearing a pasta strainer as "religious headgear".

A self-confessed atheist, Mr Alm says he belongs to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, a light-hearted, US-based faith whose members call themselves pastafarians.

wonderful! I've always loved the flying spaghetti monster. . . . .

According to the Pastafarians, global warming was directly linked and proven to be caused by the lack of pirates. I couldn't help but notice that global warming seems to be reversing itself coincidentally with the rise of piracy on the high seas in recent years.

Before you look down your nose at Pastafarians and their brethren, pirates, remember that stolen music sounds better!
