Tell you what. Go to any mall or other public place... heck... even an airport and do exactly what the TSA agents do to any random person. Let me know how that works out for you.
Well, considering that I don't have the legal right to do that, I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't work out too well for me. That wasn't even a good example, lol.

Ok. So why do you feel the TSA should have the right to violate citizens?
I think all these posters so willing to OBEY the TSA must like being treated like an animal and be into kinky sex ie Dominance and Submission maybe even the whole 9 yards-- BDS&M. I can't think of any other reason why they could possibly feel so strongly about coming to their defense all the time.
Their must be a certain percentage of the population that just loves to be submissive. I don't get it at all.

Well, technically it is written in law. Does TSA make people uncomfortable and do something that most probably wish they didn't have to go through: yes.
I wasn't asked that though. I was presented with a analogy that was just bad. Of course I can't go up and "assault" someone in a mall. The law doesn't allow me to, but the law allows TSA to do what they do. It sucks getting a patdown.
