Cross pollination is not GMO. GMO is a food source directly modified in a lab using bacteria or chemicals.

anytime you modify a food plant, whether by cross pollination, or cutting and splicing, you are genetically modifying the food plant. the only difference is that you are doing it in the field rather than in a labratory.
