What's worse is that they demoted a whistleblowing employee who exposed their tax dodging scheme.
The question is, why would they complain about higher taxes when they don't pay many of them in the first place????

Nowhere to go? Have you looked at a map? They could relocate just over the Illinois border in Northwest Indiana or Southern Wisconsin and probably keep the majority of their current employees. Both states are actively courting Illinois businesses. Hell, the ChicagoBoard of Trade and the ChicagoMercantile Exchange are considering leaving Illinois too! Along with Motorolla, Jimmy John's, Sears, and 25% of all small businesses. Yay Illinois!!!

So you'd like to think. Boeing is just as technical as Caterpillar and they are moving operations to South Carolina.
They avoided paying 2 billion in taxes. If you avoided paying that much in taxes, why would you complain about your tax rate going from 2% to 6%??

Avoidance would imply criminal activity. If they are utilizing existing tax law to minimize their tax bill that is perfectly legal and in fact have a corporate duty to do so.

The Republican Governors of Arizona , New Mexico and Nevada better run fast after that company because Chris Christie has probably already been there.

They are halfway out the door. They have a new facility in Arkansas, by the way, and are already moving all their new work to "right to work" states, as well as desperately trying to get into China.
In fact, their first priority is to penetrate the Chinese market, manufacturing in China won't be far behind.
Believe me, this company can go anywhere in the world, because they are all over it.
