What a bunch of whiney babies. Get over it. The woman apologized many, many, many years ago and did it several times. She was also very young and like most of the country was AGAINST that ridiculous war of NOTHING! and again, she said many times that she was young and she very much regretted what she had done....then she rightfully got on with life and has done very well for herself It was ridiculous of QVC to cause re-opening of old wounds. Don't bother getting on my case about Vietnam, my father (deceased), my brother in law, my exhusband and my current husband ALL fought in Vietnam and THEY got over it and never give her a 2nd thought. My husband thought she was "hot" and still does.

I had recently decided to refrain from commenting in C-D's Politics and Other Controversies forum but a thread about Jane Fonda offers the potential for so much entertainment. Not to insult lower life forms but Jane Fonda is a worm who should have been used as fish bait in the 1960s. That she complains now that people remember her treacherous 1960 activities, I say too bad. She elected back then to join a special group of women like Lizzy Borden and Casey Anthony who escaped American justice but were surely guilty as h_ll.

oh now there you go insulting worms, casey anthony, and lizzy borden. as far as i am concerned, fonda is far lower than they are. and worms are actually valuable for creating compost.

I would however use one of Jane Fonda's books in an outhouse if I happened to be out of Sears & Roebucks catalogues.
