I have jeans,T-shirts,button up shirts and boots made in the USA.
Thing is,people don't want to pay the extra few dollars...they would rather not have good paying jobs.
Amazing isn't it? They are lowering the standard of living in the USA by purchasing cheap crap as opposed to "Made in the USA" so that all they will ever be able to afford is cheap crap.
I try to avoid the Chinese Junk but it is getting more difficult. I do like New Balance shoes, Lodge cast iron cookware, Winchester and Rugar firearms and Subaru and Buick cars. I am a fan of the "How it’s Made" show and have wondered where the huge presses used to make things like Webster grills and so much else are made.
Not buying from china is a pain in the neck. However, I don't and haven't for years. Of course it means doing without. I went two years without tennis shoes until I got busy and found some that weren't made there. Right now I'm looking for some sandles to replace my 20 year old flip-flops and you wouldn't believe what I'm using for a car coffee cup.
But I'll give the Brits a nod with their Marshall amps also.
