Any bets on whether Sarah Palin will get a clue and quit preaching to others how they should live their lives? Her hypocritical social conservative authoritarianism would be amusing if it didn't lead to real people getting hurt and losing their civil rights.
She'll just find time to bash The First Lady when she encourages kids to exercise and eat healthy while her brood multiplies with the abandon of rabbits.
By implication you are saying that Todd and Sarah Palin do not have a good, strong relationship with their children and that they don't spend enough quality time with them. .
I don't know what the Palins' schedule was when their children were younger or what kind of personal relationship they had with them. I do think that it would be very difficult to find the time to have a quality relationship with your children and have a high powered, full time job or be on the campaign trail. Setting a good example, and investing time with your child is the best way to deter premarital sex. Nothing can guarantee it.

Well-said. Another apparent issue is that this family appears not to necessarily value higher education, so the young adults may not feel they have many options other than becoming parents before they may be ready to do so. Of course, with their mother's antics on the national scene, at least Bristol has been able to parlay her irresponsible behavior into a big buck$ "career" as a reality show star.

Are we not supposed to tell our children to NOT have sex before marriage? Or are we supposed to tell them the **** like rabbits, cuz all the cool kids are?
Is Track a child to the left now? Abstinence education is meant for school children, not for adults in their mid twenties.
If a man is having sex with a woman, and gets her pregnant, i would only hope they would be in the kind of relationship where they could get married, rather then for the man to skip out and leave the woman to raise the child alone.
