The Tea Party is in favor of splitting the country? Who knew? That is what I said, no groundswell of support for splitting the country. If that's what the TP wants to do, they're worse than I thought.

Hmm.

- What happens to the Native American tribes? They are sovereign. Can we take our casino money and build up arms? What if a state decides that the tribe 'no longer belongs'? We've been through that before, but back then there was no casino money.
- How do will environmental regulations and protection be approached? What happens when -Arkansas continues to allow their chicken litter runoff into the water that flows into Oklahoma, and thus causes nutrient impairment to Oklahoma's scenic streams?
- How do we handle issues like Oklahoma's dirty air that creates a haze over scenic regions of Arkansas?

We do not live in a vacuum, while those who love to tout the 'states rights' agenda often don't think about many other things.

Do you have a link to the tea parties agenda for splitting up the country? As it sounds like an interesting read.
So far they've done a darn good job of dividing the country on a mental level as now many Americans hate other Americans purely for where one stands politically.
I've already lost a brother and a father to this political insanity,Dad and the Bro are devout Beckists/Limaughits and because i have the temerity to question some of their ideologies i'm some kind of socialist wannabe communist liberal who is not worth talking to any more
From where i'm seeing it the right and the teabaggers have all gone nuts, reasonable dialogue concerning differences of opinion are no longer viable.its now all about shouting and hate, venom and vitriol, attitudes where ones worthless political viewpoint comes before family.
Splitting up the country? if this teaparty is to be the attitude of America for the future then this is the first smart idea i've heard the teabaggers come out with.
What part of the country do these teabaggers want?

No, I don't. I'm not the one who said that's what they want to do. See my post below and the response to it.

This state independence is sounding better all the time. Oklahoma didn't even have the money for desparately needed upgrade to a highway. They Cherokees came in and DONATED 11 million dollars to get the project done.

The Muscogees have paved and built many rural roads with Muscogee money. The Sac and Fox have built numerous bridges.

Well, there are a LOT of conservatives and tea party types in Oklahoma. There are also 39 tribes, so if the states go independent then we tribes are going to take our land back. The non-NDNs can pay us if they choose to stay, but they will have to abide by tribal law of whichever tribe's jurisdiction they live.

Hell yeah, let's take Oklahoma back to Indian Territory. LOL.

On the West: Who will come to the resuce of the dry states when the water infrastucture fails? Wyoming, Nevada, Arizonia, New Mexico Colorado, California? That 'farm land' in CA, the San Joaquin Valley was desert until massive irrigation projects (FEDERAL) were built and implemented. What about Texas? They are a big 'states rights' state, but they are dry for the most part. Tarrent County has sued Oklahoma to force us to provide water to them. Texas has been on fire this year and the 'states rights' Governor Perry was crying like a baby for FEDERAL help. F Texas. Get your own damned water or dry up and blow away.

Do you guys honestly not see the problems we will encounter? The West is DRY. What will you do about water?

I guess if you are worried about water you will at least forget about marching against abortion.

Absolutely! Neutering the public employee unions that are bankrupting and strangling school districts, etc., and the taxpayers MUST be done!

The only manner in which the title of this thread makes any sense is explicitly due to the buffoon in the White House, who's never going to unite anybody in bringing this country back, since he doesn't believe in personal freedom, ambition, or the right for everybody to be the best that you can be in all facets of life.

His blatant disdain for American workers who are non-union workers, and his tireless objective to promote and enhance the livelihood of union members to the detriment of the rest of us is a definite conflict of interest.

I was always under the impression that the President was supposed to do what's best for EVERYBODY, and turn his back on the needs of the 90% of us who aren't unionized to ensure that union workers will continue to live large at the expense of everybody else.

His party has done substantially more to ruin the livelihoods and/or chances for advancement and/or personal and professional success in this USA than any party on the planet, except for the one headed by that Hitler fella back in the forties.

Like 99% of all Democrats, he's always felt that he and his shills can spend your tax dollars better than you can, but the best shining example for their handiwork remains a once-thriving city called DETROIT, but they have no answer for why Detroit is, well DETROIT!!!!
